OFFERING WEST VIRGINIA THE FINEST IN SWING AND SHAG DANCE INSTRUCTION

            After raising our children we decided to take up dance.  Well actually Dee did and Kevin well after a few classes he decided it wasn't so bad after all.

             We started out dancing Country Western patterned couples dancing.  Soon we joined a dance team which performed throughout the area.  After dancing a year our team was to perform on The Nashville Network's hit TV show The Wildhorse Saloon.  To prepare ourselves we decided to learn how to do lead and follow dance.  Our first class was the Two Step, followed by East Coast Swing, Cha Cha, West Coast Swing and Waltz. 

           Our travels have allowed us to work with some great instructors including Sam and Lisa West, Charlie Womble and Jackie McGee, Ellen Taylor, Bill and Brenda Barber, Joey and Jennifer Sogluizzo, Mike and Kay Anderson, Steve and Kathy Day, Michael Norris and LeAnn Best-Norris, Judy Duke in Shag. West Coast Swing classes from legends such as Robert Cordoba and Deborah Szekely, Robert and Nicola Royston, Jordan Frisbee and Tatiana Mollmann, Ramiro Gonzales, Mario Robau, Rodger and Mellissa Taylor Darlene Long-Cree and Robin Smith, Angel and Debbie Figueroa and Laureen Baldovi.  Lindy Hop  legend Sylvia Sykes.                                         

   We've had some great local instructors including former World Country Dance Champions Rick and Lorinda Nease and Michael Martin.

        We are members of the Charleston Area Shag Society, Beckley Area Shag Club and Mid Ohio Valley Shaggers in Parkersburg.

        We have taught in Canaan Valley, Snowshoe, Charleston, Parkersburg and Beckley, West Virginia and in Ohio, North Carolina and South Carolina and have been invited to teach in Virginia, Georgia and Pennsylvania.

        We have also performed at various functions both large and small.
